Leading Loudoun's Transportation Agenda
In 2015, Loudoun County Supervisor Ron Meyer (Broad Run) ran on building alternatives routes to the Greenway. Now, those alternatives are on their way. Shellhorn Road is being extended to Route 28 at Sterling Boulevard -- offering a toll-free alternative to $6 tolls and traffic on Waxpool Road.
TransportationIt's not just Greenway tolls. Supervisor Meyer is fighting against unreasonable tolls on I-66 and leading on local issues, like removing the traffic signal at Route 7 and Lexington Dr. -- or fixing the signals on Waxpool and Farmwell Roads. He supports an all-of-the-above approach to congestion relief. |
VisionDevelopment policies in Loudoun have been shortsighted for too long. We need to plan for more parks, green space, and a County that stands out from our neighbors. Supervisor Meyer supports an Infrastructure First approach to development. |
Constituent ServicesLocal government is about fixing problems. We've worked with our community to fix dozens of issues to improve the lives of residents, from fixing drainage systems, to solving gas leaks or working with VDOT to make roads safer. Email or call Supervisor Meyer, and you will get a personal response back. |
